Where is the wedding taking place?

Our wedding venue is located at the El Dorado Royle and El Dorado Royale Casitas Resort. This resort is located just over 30 minutes south of Cancun.

Why did you pick this resort as your venue?

We picked this location because there is something for everyone. This property technically consists of four different resorts- El Dorado Royale Casitas, El Dorado Royale, Generations, and Nickelodeon. These all-inclusive resorts are all connected and sit on more than 450 acres of tropical jungle.

How do I pick which resort to stay in?

There are four resorts, two of which are adult only and two that are family friendly. All resorts are all-inclusive, which means that food, drink (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), activities, and lodging are included in the price per night. El Dorado Royale Casitas is an adult only resort that caters to couples or those who are looking for a more exclusive experience. Due to the nature of the resort, suites at this location will only have king beds and there is a limit of two adults per room. This resort has a few more amenities than its neighbor, El Dorado Royale. These additional amenities include, but are not limited to: a private butler, larger room service menu, top shelf liquor, and exclusive access to Casitas pools/swim-up bars. El Dorado Royale is an adult only resort that is great for those that want a more "exciting" stay. Two of the suite options at this location have double beds and allow for up to three guests per room. This resort is where most of the activities occur for the adult only side. Generations is a family friendly resort that offers an array of family friendly activities and there are many different room layouts and options to cater to your family's needs. Nickelodeon is another family friendly option that includes a waterpark and many other family-friendly activities that are Nickelodeon themed. *If you are staying at El Dorado Royale or the Casitas, you are able to go to the Generations resort to any of their restaurants or bars. If you are an adult on the Generations side, you are able to cross over to the Royale side, however, you cannot bring your children over.

Do I need a passort?

The answer is yes AND your passport cannot expire within six months of the trip.

How do I book my stay?

If you are wanting the discounted group rate, you will need to book through Alex and Madison. To do this you will text Alex at (816) 803-7449 and let him know if you are bringing any additional guests, when you will be arriving and departing, which resort you want to stay at, and what type of room you want. You will then submit your payment. If you are wanting to book on your own, you can do this via the Resort's website: https://www.lomashospitality.com/en/ Or if you are a Costco member, you can book through Costco Travel. *If booking on your own, please remember to choose from El Dorado Royale, El Dorado Royale Casitas, or Generations Riviera Maya.
